The Niagara River Lions are one of the original six teams of the CEBL, which has now expanded to 10 teams across Canada. Playing out of the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines during the spring and summer months, the River Lions represent the twelve municipalities of the Niagara Region while living up to the River Lions moniker of pride and strength of community. With a unique "horseshoe" set-up in the Lion's Den, every seat in the house allows fans to be as close as possible to the non-stop action and high level basketball.
The Niagara River Lions took home a thrilling victory in their 2024 season, defeating the Vancouver Bandits in an unforgettable 97-95 showdown! A huge thank you to our incredible fans and supporters—you made all the difference this season! We can’t wait to get back on the court and bring you even more excitement in the 2025 summer season!
